Jenks Public Schools, in conjunction with the Jenks Athletic Department, is proud to announce Justin Timmerman as the new Head Baseball Coach at Jenks High School, pending approval by the Jenks Public Schools’ Board of Education. Timmerman, who has 16 seasons of baseball coaching experience at the high school and collegiate level, spent the last six years as the Head Baseball Coach at Sperry High School where he led the Pirates to a 117-70 (.625) record and five District Championships.

“I am extremely excited to be the next Head Baseball Coach at Jenks High School,” Timmerman stated. “This has been a dream come true for me and my family. Jenks Baseball has a rich tradition of academic and athletic excellence. I look forward to building upon that legacy. I would like to thank Dr. Stacey Butterfield (Jenks Superintendent), Tony Dillingham (Athletic Director), Jason Culler (Assistant Athletic Director), David Beiler (High School Principal), and the entire administrative team at Jenks for this wonderful opportunity.”

Timmerman, a graduate of Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, was the head coach at Liberty High School in Mounds, Oklahoma, and guided the Tigers to 26-8 record during the 2012 season. After beginning his coaching career at Chouteau High School in 1999, Timmerman made stops at Ponca City High School, served as an assistant coach at Oral Roberts University for two seasons, and was the head coach at Globe Institute of Technology, a junior college program in New York City. Before returning to Oklahoma, Timmerman spent three seasons as the head coach at Boca Raton Community High School in Boca Raton, Florida. Timmerman boasts a winning record in 12 of his 14 seasons as a head coach.

“We are thrilled to welcome Coach Timmerman to the Trojan coaching family,” commented Tony Dillingham, Jenks Athletic Director. “We are pleased to add a staff member of Coach Timmerman’s caliber to an already strong district coaching staff. We look forward to years of continued success under his leadership.”

Timmerman arrives in Jenks with his wife, Holly, his son, Jackson (6), and daughter, Addison (3).
